Sintered lamella filter
The new generation of surface filtration. The forward-looking solution for fine dust separation, contamination-free product recovery, and energy-efficient operation.
Technology
Based on the proven INFA-JET series, the IJS was developed specifically for applications where efficiency, safety, and durability are paramount. At the heart of the system is the innovative sintered lamellar filter element made of sintered polyethylene with an integrated, PFAS-free microporous coating—for high-performance filtration combined with environmental sustainability and future-proofing.
Filtration occurs purely via the surface—without fibers, without dust breakthrough, and completely contamination-free. This keeps the air clean and the product fully recoverable. With clean gas values below 0.1 mg/m³, a service life of over five years, and maintenance-free operation, the INFA-JET IJS sets new standards in efficiency and sustainability.
Thanks to its rigid structure, no explosive atmosphere forms in the clean gas chamber—the IJS thus operates in an explosion-proof and energy-efficient manner.
Whether as a floor-standing or top-mounted filter, with or without a fan—the modular system allows for flexible adaptation to virtually any process or spatial requirement.
Standard design features
- Base module consisting of a sealed filter housing and rigid sintered lamellae
- Modular system for flexible adaptation to different requirements
- Housing pressure resistance ± 50 mbar, operating temperature up to 70 °C
- Optional configurations:
- Floor-standing filter, top-mounted filter, or plug-in filter
- Base section with hopper, dust collection pot, or discharge device
- Fan flanged or mounted on a console
- Filter enclosures for horizontal or vertical installation
- Secondary filter stage for special requirements
Filter Elements and Filtration Principle
The filter elements are made of sintered polyethylene (PE).
A microporous, hydrophobic, and PFAS-free coating is directly integrated into the pore structure of the PE.
As a result, filtration occurs exclusively over the surface – penetration of the filter material or fiber release is excluded.
Your benefits at a glance
Pure surface filtration: fiber-free, contamination-free, product-pure
- Excellent clean gas quality < 0.1 mg/m³
- Long service life – expected lifespan > 5 years with abrasive dusts
- Explosion-proof in clean gas applications
- Sustainable and washable – thermally recyclable, durable, and resource-efficient
- Modular system allows flexible adaptation to virtually any process or spatial requirement.
Explosion Protection and Safety
The rigid filter elements of the IJS prevent dust penetration and do not create an explosive atmosphere in the clean gas chamber.
As a result, no dust-explosive zone is created in the clean gas area (Zones 20, 21, 22).
The filter acts as a barrier against dust penetration and eliminates the risk of an accident caused by filter failure.
Optional housing designs are available in pressure-resistant or explosion-proof construction.
