Cement, lime, gypsum

It is a long way from the quarry to the concrete mixer. Various steps in the process generate a considerable amount of dust. This must be limited and removed using modern filter systems.
Dust extraction solutions from Infastaub reduce dust emissions at numerous points in the production process.

Examples

Filter systems for the building materials industry

A building materials plant in Siberia was renovated and equipped with 15 filter systems from Infastaub. They are used to remove dust from 26 dust sources (elevators, crushers, screens, weighing hoppers, belt transfer points, packaging machines, pneumatic conveyors, etc.).
In total, the 15 filter units remove dust from a total volume flow of approx. 40,000 m³/h. The various filter units, e.g., silo top filters (AJB, AJV) or central dust extraction systems (AJL), capture dust emissions from gypsum, marble powder, ash, cement, and quartz sand at different dust sources. When dedusting a cement-sand mixture, special attention was paid to the residual dust content of < 0.5 mg/m³, and an Infa-Micron MKR cassette filter with a non-cleanable secondary filter stage was connected downstream of a lamella filter.
In order to keep the total number of filter systems as low as possible, air volumes from several synchronously operating processes with the same dusts are combined in one filter system each. In systems such as weighing hoppers and dosing units, the differential pressure of the filter systems should be kept as low and stable as possible so that the pressure measuring devices of the conveyor units can function correctly.

Easy-to-maintain stainless steel vent filters

Lime in various forms is an important additive in water treatment. When filling silo containers with bulk material, the displaced air must be able to escape to the outside as unhindered as possible. The dust-laden displacement air is usually cleaned using a silo top filter. In a waterworks, this dust removal system was converted from vibrating filter systems to Infa Vario-Jet AJV stainless steel vent filters with jet pulse cleaning. Thanks to the quick-release fasteners on the plate base, access to the clean gas chamber is particularly easy to maintain.
