INNOV‘IA is specialist for manufacturing of tailor-made powders that are gained by spray drying. In La Rochelle, France, different powder products are produced by using different technologies as spray drying, co-drying, granulation, agglomeration, microencapsulation and coating technologies. Especially the food industry belongs to their fields of application.

When processing different kinds of powder, problems occured especially with volatile substances. It wasn‘t possible to regain the filtered dusts back for production. Instead the dust had to be removed from the floor. This caused production loss and at the same time safety of the operating personnel was harmed and environmental rules could not be me.

The planners finally chose a bag filter AJV 800 made of stainless steel in order to comply with food safe production.

The head of production of INNOV‘IA explains the choice: „Noise reduction was very important for us. Infastaub solved the demand with an external fan. Additionaly the flow capacity of the filter is high. This enables a better capture of dust emissions at the source.

Since INNOV‘IA is conviced by the performance of the filter, two further filter plants will be assembled in summer.
